CPE Systems and COVID-19

Dear Customers, Suppliers, and Friends,

We want to update you on any impact the COVID-19 pandemic might have on our business and of our plans and preparations to deal with it.  We are all healthy and open for business with no shipping delays or inventory shortages. 

At the time of posting this statement, the Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the public health risk associated with COVID-19 as low for Canada, with continued reassessment as new information becomes available.  That said, we are closely monitoring the ongoing conditions of the COVID-19 virus and the associated economic impact and we take the health and safety of our customers, staff, and family very seriously.

We have taken a number of steps to proactively handle risk.  We have ceased all unnecessary travel and taken additional measures to clean and disinfect our premises.  In the event that there is an escalation, we have arranged that all of our office staff can work seamlessly from home if necessary.  This will allow us to continue to look after our customers while reducing the risk to staff.

 We have also taken measures to increase our inventory and prebuild as many units as possible to avoid shipment delays.   We do use common carriers and depend on relevant authorities, such US CBP and Canadian Border Services so some delays may be beyond our control. Please be assured we will do whatever we can to resolve issues and to keep you informed of the status of your order.
