The Encapsulated 2-Way Ball Valve is a sanitary valve designed to control the flow of product in process lines. This style of ball-valve encases the ball and seats within the valve body, resulting in a lower pressure drop, less turbulent flow, reduced torque and friction losses, and improved efficiency and longevity. A stainless steel ball is used to restrict flow by sealing around matching PTFE seats, which provides a complete shut-off. The ball valve is designed to control flow of high volume, temperature, and pressure products in high-performance and sanitary applications. It delivers clean, reliable, and efficient measurements while remaining durable and easy to maintenance.
