The 45MP Spring Loaded Check Valve is a sanitary valve that prevents the backflow of low and medium viscosity fluids in sanitary processing lines. A disk is held in place by a spring, pressure from the product pushes open the seat to allow flow. The light pressure spring the valve when flow stops and prevents backwards flow. Any back pressure increases the closing force on the disk against the seat securely sealing it. This valve only requires about 2 psi of flow to open it and can prevent up to 145 PSI of backpressure without leaks. The spring allows the check valve to be used in vertical and horizontal applications. The design of this valve features a full size flow plate and a long stem bushing which allows for a longer life cycle. This valve is 3A certified for use in sanitary processing operations.
